While Bill Bragman of Yakgear was here visiting us in NZ he had a chance to go kayak fishing with 2 of NZ most active kayak anglers Stephen Tapp of Viking Kayaks & Jason Milne of Paddleguy.com. On this trip they joined local kayak fishing club North Shore Kayak Fishing Club on their monthly get together at Sullivans Bay in the stunning Mahurangi.
This was a great chance for Bill to experience kayak fishing in NZ with a great bunch of people. RAILBLAZA have long been supporting the NZ kayak fishing community and that support was reflected in the amount of kayaks in this club all proudly using our gear. From Nav lights, camera booms, rod holders, C-Tug trolleys and more..
Whilst the guys could not put Bill on to a hard fighting NZ fish he got to land a few nice snapper to take home and enjoy for lunch.. Back at the beach after the trip the club were all relaxing over a BBQ and good conversation about the day, although Bill did not get put on to a hard fighting NZ fish, the company, location and the weather sure made for a memorable experience worth reporting to his USA network when he gets home this week.
